Business Analyst Intern

Job description:

DI-Asia Base Business Services Ltd. (DIAB) is currently recruiting for internship at our office in Downtown Shanghai to assist the management with strategic advisory, marketing, and business development activities related to our portfolio of ESG-related services, courses and projects. 

Well performing interns will get the opportunity to actively influence the direction of the internship. 

DIAB is a joint venture between DI (Confederation of Danish Industry) and the Danish consultancy firm, Asia Base. DIAB is the largest Danish incubator outside of Denmark and DI’s largest office abroad. Job duties:

  • Sales, marketing support and business development activities
  • Preparing market research for potential clients
  • Preparing sector research/industry studies
  • Assist on ESG projects
  • Supporting with client management
  • Supporting the recruitment services
  • Supporting activities related to onboarding of new staff on behalf of clients
  • The writing of articles to the Danish media & social media communication
  • Ad-hoc duties as per management’s requests. 

Candidate profile:

  • B.Sc. degree within commercial field or equivalent - must be completed minimum 2 years before internship starts
  • Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and good presentation and communication skills
  • Academic- and/or professional experience from China is preferred
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English
  • Knowledge of Chinese is a definite plus, but not a prerequisite
  • IT competencies (MS Office)
  • Personal skills: Open-minded, an outgoing personality willing to learn, self driven. 


Start date is flexible, depending on availability and how quickly work permit can be acquired. The internship will last between 6-12 months, where DIAB is also available to support the Master Thesis process. Depending on the student’s performance and interest, employment after the internship is also an opportunity.

The internship is unpaid. However, interns will receive monthly financial aid of RMB 3.800 to assist with living costs and DIAB will cover the intern’s international health insurance fee.
